as it says on the title. However, the Carta Bellamarina is not currently listed as a band which can be joined. I'm considering adding it as a generally available band which people can join, would anyone object?
Option would be to form the Carta Bellamarina as a Guild, and the Bellamarina Salvators as a separate Free Company who are working within the larger Guild.
There needs to be a Group Oath (Be Indispensible seems to be the obvious one for the Carta Bellamarina) but there are options for an open group (which means we might get some additional members adding themselves at start-up) or secret, which can only been joined in game.
there are 4000 characters available for the background for the group
The way I understand it, you can be a group based around being a guild and thats fine. But in rules terms PD only recognises bands (banner, sect, coven) as variious special effects target certain types of bands (e.g magic banners effect everyone in the banner that is bonded to it)
We are planning on being a Guild that is also a sect of loyalty as we have a priest and several priest effects can target all member of a sect.
In addition to that we are planning on having two covens within the group one fore the day ritualists and one for the night ritualists, but they can only be in one coven at a time so someone cant be in both.
It depends on what you want to do, if a bunch of you are going to go and fight together it makes sense that they are in a banner together (and I will probably point any of ours who want to fight to join if your willing as we arent planning on fielding a banner), it also makes sense if your playing battlefield medics.
But there is no reason why a group has to be a band.
I may be wrong but thats the way i understand it.
