Hopefully you're all getting excited about event 3. I have today submitted the downtime to upgrade my business just in time for the elections.
As you're probably all aware I shall be standing for Sarvos senator again this event, and it's likely to be a tough fought race. It'd help enormously if you can help to identify which of the Sarvos electorate are on the field (that's people in Sarvos with businesses) so that we can talk to them, and hopefully persuade them that I'm the right woman for the job. Obviously getting involved in campaigning is totally optional, but if we do win, it will hopefully raise the profile of the guild which should mean more exciting game options for everyone. I think it's going to be a hectic event.
On a more OOC practical note, the camp seemed to work really great last time, but set up and tear down of four IC tents and all the gear does take a bit of time. Thanks for all those who were able to help last event, and if you can spare some time Fri PM and after time out, it's really appreciated and does make things go a lot faster.
Finally, we'd like to do a brief guild meeting at 7pm on Friday, just to help us all recognise each other's faces, and re-swear the guild oath, and let each other know if there's anything we can be helping each other with. Hopefully it won't take more than 15 minutes or so.
Hope to see you all at the event. Really looking forward to playing with you all again.
Event Three is going to be my first Empire (and first event LARP). David (Matthias) is going to be looking after me and stuff so if any of you see a young woman tailing him, that's me! :D
My character name and concept has changed a little since my introductory post - I'm now going to be playing Lunetta di Sarvos, a Priest of Loyalty. :)
It will be great to meet you all, and bear with me, I'm learning as fast as I can, I promise!!
Hi Josée. It's really great that you're going to be joining us, and I hope that you really enjoy your first experience of a big game. I hope you'll be as blown away as I was at my first Maelstrom more years ago than I care to remember. It will be good to have a religious character within the group, and as you've probably noticed from the background, we're pretty big on Loyalty in these parts. I'll be happy to introduce you to some of our religious allies if you need it to help you get stuck into that part of the game, but I imagine David also knows people who can help with that.
just a quick thing there's an opening party for a dawnish ****tail bar on saturday night, and i've been told that another giuld is coming, why don't we make an apperance?
you're welcome to come but try not to cause too much trouble ;) (with in its limits) as i'm providing securtiy for the bar so im having to keep my eye out
