Carta Bellamarina [http://bellamarina.coraline.org/] is a diversified trade guild operating out of Sarvos. It has interests in banking, shipping, heavy industry and all sorts of trading.
I am particularly looking to recruit for:
Bellamarina Militant - the mercenary arm of the Carta. We are rebuilding after heavy losses in recent wars and I am looking to make our Anvil company an elite archery unit. The aim is to be disciplined, heavy armoured but able to move fast all battle, good shots, and shoot lots of arrows. It will require commitment in kit and in practice on and off the field.
I want us to be known as the best and charge accordingly. Which in turn means that we can be well equipped with magic items, potions, enchantments and pay well. Then we can flash the cash at the many bars, eateries and other entertainments like proper mercenaries.

Looks fine to me, although as David / Vigo is our go to guy for matters military, it'd be good to get his input. Not sure if there's much of an in-game economy for mercenary work as things stand at the moment, but it doesn't hurt to try.

Michael, I'm fine with you trying to draw in more recruits for the Bellamarina Militant (good name for that part of the guild, btw). The Bellamarina Salvatores, which was/is my force of men, would only be one unit out of what should be available. They are intended to be a heavy armoured infantry unit focusing on great weapons (with some sword/shield) so you recruiting for a heavy armoured missile unit is complimentary to that plan as well.
I have some sources for cheap back and brestplates and sallets bookmarked on ebay, if you're interested, which would give recruits some basic but very League armour for under £120.00, and a further £45.00 for legs. Mytholon also do good armour deals.
I only actually made one day of an event last year, hardly enough to dip my toe. Hopefully next this year I'll be able to sneek off to two or three events.
While not (necessarily) a militant character myself (am intending to learn some weapon skills this year and take to the battlefield by the last event), given my character's recent past - she'll be around for the aid of any Bellamarina/potential Bellamarina recruits!! :)
