I have already written the memorial service, an order of service and a notice to be put up in the civil service tent on site, just requiring a date to be put on to it.
I know of at least two groups of non-Carta who would like to attend. I was thinking of holding it either Friday night (though I'd expect most people to not want this as it's the first evening on site) or possibly early-evening Saturday. What do people think?
Also, as a nod to Matthias and his one-and-only debut in The Pledge, I was considering talking to the accordionist and seeing if he would be willing to play some sort of solemn music for the occasion. What do you think?

That was my reasoning for trying to do it late-ish in the day, either so it could be held at sunset or by candlelight. :)
I have spoken to Csongor Madarak de Temeschwar, the accordionist that Matthias commented on in the Pledge. He was more than willing to attend and play for the wake. He also asked for information about Matthias and Reynard's lives, as he offered to perhaps compose a short poem for the occasion, which I thought was a lovely gesture.
I'll get some flyers printed, ready to go on the boards in the Civil Service tent. I know there were quite a lot of people from outside the Carta intending to come.
